A man is recovering in a Fort Worth hospital and three men accused in his shooting are locked up.
Police say the victim was shot just past 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mercantile Square, an apartment complex on Tanacross near Loop 820 and Beach.
Police found him with two bullet wounds in the upper body including one in the chest. Investigators believe it was a drive-by shooting and officers saw the getaway car as it was speeding out of the parking lot.
The police pulled the car over and arrested the three men inside. The Fort Worth police Gang Unit has been asked to take part in the investigation.
The victim is reported to be in stable condition.
