On Sunday afternoon, residents of Tolar and Lipan were ordered to move away from the fires toward Granbury immediately.

Several shelters have been set up in and around Granbury.

Additional evacuations were ordered near the Hood-Erath county line for people in Bluff Dale and for those north and northwest of Huckabay.

Farther west, the Eastland Complex fire has now charred more than 50,000 acres and killed at least one person, an Eastland County sheriff's deputy who died last week helping residents evacuate.

A number of North Texas fire departments have sent crews to help man the fire lines including Denton, Grand Prairie and Lewisville.

The Granbury shelters include:

* The Church of Latter-Day Saints on Ross Lane
* The Granbury First United Methodist Church on Loop 567
* First Christian Church on Highway 377
* The Hood County YMCA on James Road
* Camp Crucis on Camp Crucis Road
* The Somervell County Expo Center in Glen Rose
* Mansfield Animal Hospital (for cats, dogs, and livestock, with trailers available)
* The Santo Community Center
