Today's the day some people love, while others dread it.

Valentine's Day is when we celebrate our loved ones; many of us do it with sweets. And most guys stick to the tried and true, flowers and candy.

We found lots of it at the Andi Mac Candy Shack on Main Street in downtown Mansfield where owner Andrea McMillan has everything from nostalgic chewing gum from our childhoods (remember Beeman's, Clove or Blackjack?) to some pretty fancy imported sweets.

McMillan’s shop offers a striking selection, boasting 1,600 items. The inventory ranges from nostalgic treats like bubble gum cigars and candy cigarettes to refined imports from countries including Japan, Iceland, Finland, and Germany—nearly any place one can imagine. For McMillan, the store represents an encore career, transitioning from a profession in accounting to curating a world of confections.
