
Mansfield ISD leaders will be discussing school safety at a special community meeting later this week following the recent shooting on the Timberview High School campus.

The meeting will be held Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. at the Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts. It comes in the wake of the shooting at Timberview High School, in which three people were injured and the campus was locked down and eventually closed for several days after.
The panel will consist of Superintendent Dr. Kimberly Cantu, School Board President Michelle Newsom, the police chiefs of the Mansfield ISD and the cities of Mansfield and Arlington, and others. T
There will be free shuttles to and from each of the district's five high schools.
