A McKinney man is heading to prison for decades in a child sexual abuse case.
District Attorney Greg Willis says Kernell Zeno was sentenced to 50 years in prison without parole after the jury found him guilty of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child.
It's never been disclosed how Zeno knew the two children he was accused of abusing. But investigators said he had "ongoing access" to the children.
In time, the children saved up enough money to put locks on their bedroom doors. But the jury was told Zeno simply used a knife to disable the locks so he could continue his assaults.
