Irving based arts-and-crafts retailer Michael's is reportedly laying off more than 200 workers in Fort Worth.

Reports say the company has notified the Texas Workforce Commission of the decision which affects the workforce at its distribution center on Westport Parkway near Alliance Airport.

The layoffs affect the e-commerce portion of the complex.

Michael's ramped up its e-commerce business at the beginning of the Coronavirus outbreak. But that portion of their business is winding down so the 202 workers will be laid off beginning in June.
