Police in Midlothian have arrested a man suspected in several sexual assault cases where the victims were children. They're also working with authorities in another state to determine if there are more possible victims.

Police launched an investigation last month after getting an outcry from a girl who is currently 13 years old. She was interviewed at the Ellis County Children’s Advocacy Center and said she had been abused by 42-year-old Jesse Aaron Goza of Midlothian repeatedly over a period of two to three years. She also told investigations about two other possible victims.

Those girls were also interviewed and police say their statements corroborated those made by the first. They also identified another possible victim in Nevada, who has been interviewed by authorities there. Police say that interview indicates there could be even more victims.

Goza has been charged with two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child. That's a first degree felony. He's currently being held in jail with bond set at $500,000 on each count.

Police are asking anyone with additional information about the existing cases or any other victims to contact their Criminal Investigations Section at 972-775-3333.
