Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller is asking a judge to void Texas Senate rules that require either a negative Coronavirus test or proof of vaccination for Capitiol visitors.
Miller told the judge "I believe in the statement in the constitution that the citizens of Texas have the right to petition their government. I can't see where it says if they've taken a COVID vaccine, or if they've taken a COVID test, or they take a, you know, strep test or if they take an HIV test."
