Caddo Mills police say a minor has been arrested and charged with murder after officers found a woman dead inside a home Tuesday.
Officers with the Caddo Mills Police Department conducted a welfare check at a residence in the city, where they discovered the woman’s body. Authorities have not released the victim’s name.
The Texas Rangers were called in to assist with the investigation. Police said a minor was taken into custody and is being held in connection with the case. The minor’s identity has not been released.
The Caddo Mills ISD Police Department and the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office are also assisting in the investigation.
No additional details have been released.
