Most school districts across North Texas are set to reopen for regular school classes Wednesday after weather-related closures Tuesday.
Though temperatures are expected to be below freezing Wednesday morning, plenty of sunshine will dominate the day with temperatures in the mid-40s by afternoon.
For this reason, some school districts are opting for a delay in the start time Wednesday. Below is the list of those choosing to delay, close or make any schedule adjustments.
Dallas ISD campuses set to open 30 minutes earlier to accommodate; start at regular scheduled hours.
Fort Worth ISD Polytechnic High School set to close because the school is 'completely without heat.' Every other campus in the district is set to reopen.
Kaufman ISD - 2 Hour Delay
Lancaster ISD set to open with a two-hour delay.
Mabank ISD - 2 Hour Delay
Mesquite ISD - Only Smith Elementary School is closed due to no heat. All other campuses will be open.
Plano ISD - Only Hendrick Middle School is closed due to no heat.
Rains ISD - 2 Hour Delay
Sulpher Springs ISD - 2 Hour Delay
