The National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington is receiving national recognition after being nominated for USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Award for Best New Museum.
The nomination places the North Texas landmark in a nationwide public vote highlighting newly opened museums across the country.
USA Today’s 10Best program selects nominees through a panel of editors and subject-matter experts, with final rankings determined by public voting. The recognition comes months after the museum opened its doors in March, showcasing the stories and sacrifices of U.S. service members who have received the Medal of Honor.

Vote for your favorite once per day until voting ends on Monday, December 22 at noon ET. The winners will be announced on Friday, January 2 at noon ET.
Located near AT&T Stadium in Arlington, the museum serves as the national home for preserving and sharing the legacy of the country’s highest military decoration. Exhibits focus on personal stories of valor, leadership, and service, using immersive displays and historical artifacts.
Museum officials say the nomination reflects growing national awareness of the site as a major cultural and educational destination. Public voting for the USA Today award is now open, with results to be announced later this year.
