A Dallas woman who was set on fire in July has died and now new charges will be filed against her accused attacker.
Enhanced murder charges have now been added for the death of 58-year-old Horace Anne Andrews.
66-year-old Billy Wayne Council is already under indictment for aggravated assault of Andrews. On July 30th, police say Council poured lighter fluid on Andrews and then set her on fire and fled from the scene which was in the 1700 block of Bannock Avenue in South Dallas, near the I-45 and Hwy 175 split.
Andrews has been hospitalized in critical condition ever since. Police say she died Saturday, meaning a new charge of murder will be filed.
Police never disclosed a motive for the attack.
