A North Richland Hills toddler has died after being run over in the parking lot of an apartment complex Monday night.
Reports say about 5:00 p.m. police were called to the Oxford at Iron Horse, a complex on Browning Drive near Loop 820 and Rufe Snow.
They found two-year-old Gideon Randall had been struck by a vehicle. He was in critical condition when he was rushed to Cook Children's but he died about a half-hour later.
The driver did stop at the scene, as required by law, and spoke to police. It's not been decided if any charges will be filed.
The driver who struck the child stayed on the scene and has been cooperating with the police. They do not expect any charges to be filed against the driver and say this appears to be a tragic accident.
