With 2020 being what it is, the Salvation Army is having a tough time finding enough people to fulfill Angel Tree wishes for kids and the elderly.
Yesterday was supposed to be the deadline. But there were still 15,000 untaken Angel requests so the Salvation Army has extended the deadline by a week, through December 7th.
From the Army's North Texas Area Command, Major Bethany Hawks says the deficiency is even deeper has only been compounded by the Coronavirus outbreak which worsens people's financial, emotional and physical needs.
