The Northwest school district trustees will hold a special meeting Thursday to discuss their next steps following last week's sudden death of Superintendent David Hicks who was in his first year in the Northwest District.
Hicks died Friday at the age of 55 from what the district will only describe as a "medical emergency."
Trustees will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. Also Thursday, the district is requesting students, teachers and staff wear either Rangers gear or red-white-and-blue to honor Hicks.
