November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. The American Lung Association came out with its annual "State of Lung Cancer" report. It shows Texas as the second worst state in the country for screening rates for lung cancer.
That report also finds lung cancer is the deadliest form of cancer in the U.S.
There is a little bit of hope in the report. It says the chances of surviving lung cancer are higher today than ever.
