The group "Take Back Oak Lawn" hosted the candle light vigil, just blocks from where Justin Thompson was shot and killed, early Monday morning, according to NBCDFW.com
Close friends knew him as Justin Dickson, and said that he loved music and was always positive.
Members of the community put up flyers in the neighborhood, asking for information regarding a person of interest. Residents are asking police, to step up patrols, and are also asking neighbors to look out for one another.
