Oak Ridge police chief arrested then fired for soliciting underage prostitute

OAK RIDGE (1080 KRLD)- The police chief is out of a job in the Kaufman County city of Oak Ridge.

This comes a day after Arlington police arrested Chief Thomas Peoples on a charge of soliciting a prostitute who is under the age of 18.

Peoples bonded out of the Tarrant County Jail under a $25,000 dollar bond.

The report says it's an ongoing investigation. The mayor of Oak Ridge confirmed that the city fired the chief because of that arrest.
