A $34 million renovation project has been completed at the Grand Hyatt hotel at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. Airport and hotel officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday.

The Grand Hyatt, located inside Terminal D, underwent upgrades that expand guest capacity and modernize meeting and event spaces.

General Manager Jeff Babcock said the hotel continues to focus on serving air travelers while also adding amenities designed to attract local visitors and businesses. Among the new features is a large rooftop-level indoor-outdoor meeting and event area intended for conferences and social gatherings.

The renovation increased the number of guest rooms to 315 and included improvements to the hotel’s 6,600-square-foot ballroom and other common areas.

DFW Airport officials say the upgrades are part of broader efforts to enhance on-site hospitality options for passengers and the surrounding community.
