One person was injured in an overnight fire at UT Arlington.
Jasiel Zapata with Arlington Fire says firefighters were called to the 848 Mitchell Apartments on West Mitchell Street just before 4:30 on Friday morning.
The fire forced residents to evacuate into 20-degree conditions outside. The fire grew to two alarms, and it was extinguished within an hour, enabling evacuated residents to return home. A man had to be rushed to a hospital with burn injuries; no firefighters were hurt.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
