MESQUITE (1080 KRLD)- One man is dead after a standoff with police overnight in Mesquite.
Lieutenant George Hensley says the man was wanted for two murders in Missouri. He refused to come out when police showed up at a home on Houston Drive, near Samuel Farm late Monday night.

The SWAT was called in. They talked to the man for about three hours trying to get him to surrender. The standoff ended when the suspect killed himself. Nobody else was reported hurt during the whole altercation.
