As parents get ready for back to school Parkland Health is making it easy to get kids vaccinated before they return to classrooms.

Parkland Health has more than a dozen community health clinics across Dallas County and today you can take your child to anyone of them to get immunized, no appointment needed.

It's called Walk-in Wednesdays and it's new this year. It's first come, first served.

Parents are reeminded they should bring their kids shot records with them.
Kids in Texas are required to have certain vaccines before entering school.

Immunizations are offered at Parkland Clinic on other days, but appointments are recommended.

Parkland Health accepts Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP and most major insurance plans, and they can also help people who are uninsured.
