TERRELL (1080 KRLD)- A Kaufman County Sheriff's deputy has escaped injury even though a pick-up smashed into his cruiser head-on overnight.
The crash was just before midnight on the shoulder of F-M 429 a little east of Terrell. Both the squad car and the pick-up are pretty heavily damaged. But the deputy and the other driver did not seem to have serious injuries.
The pick-up driver remained at the scene to speak to investigators. So far, they're not saying anything about possible charges.
