A pilot and a passenger walked away after their small plane flipped upside down at Grand Prairie Municipal Airport Wednesday.
The FAA is investigating but the preliminary information from the city of Grand Prairie suggests that the plane flipped when the pilot put on heavy braking pressure trying to stop the single-engine Cessna 180-A on the runway. T
The plane overturned on a grassy area causing heavy damage.
