Teens in North Texas with intellectual and developmental disabilities are enjoying a special summer camp held just for them.
Ability Connection is a Dallas-based nonprofit agency specializing in care for all types of intellectual and developmental disabilities. They announced a new partnership with Potter's House to bring C.O.R.E. Skills Camps to children in Dallas County.
C.O.R.E. stands for Communication, Organization, Responsibility, and Empathy. This dimensions skills camp provides academic and support to students receiving special education services and is available to students ages 10-17.
