The school board for the Plano ISD has reached an agreement with the City of Plano to sell three school campuses.

The school board had previously voted to close Armstrong Middle School, Davis Elementary School and Forman Elementary School. Those campuses are scheduled to remain open through the end of the 2024-25 school year.

The agreement with the City of Plano does not specify a cost for the three sites. The City has agreed to offer a fair purchase price for each property based on its market value as determined by an outside appraiser. Any future uses for the properties will be required to benefit the community and maintain neighborhood integrity.

"We are deeply grateful for our partnership with the City, which is built on a shared vision to preserve the integrity of our neighborhoods for the benefit of our families," said PISD Superintendent Dr. Theresa Williams.
