PLANO (1080 KRLD)- Plano officers are investigating a stabbing and kidnapping where two men were injured while trying to stop an abduction on Thursday.
On Thursday afternoon, officers responded to a stabbing and kidnapping in the 2400 block of W. Spring Creek Parkway. The suspects, 23-year-old Raul Puente and 23-year-old Ivan Puente-Ledezma, allegedly kidnapped a woman and her 4-year-old child during a domestic dispute. Police learned two adult males attempted to intervene and stop the kidnapping but were stabbed by one of the suspects before they took off with the mother and child.
Police tracked the suspects to Oak Cliff, where both were taken into custody.
Authorities are continuing to gather evidence on the aggravated kidnapping and assault charges. Plano police did not provide an update on the two who were stabbed or the two who were abducted.
