Plano police are asking the public for help locating a Dallas woman with schizophrenia and her two young daughters - including a 3-month-old infant - who disappeared Sunday evening after leaving a North Dallas movie theater.
Alexcia Pruitt, 30, was last seen around 8 p.m. on February 22, 2026, when she left the Cinemark theater on Dallas Parkway with her 5-year-old daughter and infant. Shortly after, the three were reportedly spotted walking near a Jack in the Box on Windhaven Parkway before heading northbound along the service road. Pruitt does not have a cell phone with her.
The Plano Police Department has classified the case as an endangered missing person investigation, citing Pruitt's diagnosed schizophrenia. Police say she is current on her medications, but the absence of any phone and the presence of two very young children — one just 3 months old — have heightened concern for their safety.
Pruitt is described as a woman with long, straight black hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, a white shirt, and denim shorts, and was carrying a black backpack-style diaper bag. She would have been carrying the infant at the time.
The 5-year-old was last seen in a white furry jacket with white and purple sweatpants. The infant was wearing a onesie and was wrapped in a pink blanket.
The circumstances — a mother without a phone, an infant in her arms, and a young child by her side, walking along a busy North Dallas service road on a February night — have made this a particularly urgent search. Temperatures in the Plano-Dallas area were in the mid-40s Sunday evening.
Anyone who sees Pruitt or her daughters, or who has information about their whereabouts, is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately and reference Plano Police incident #26-36197.
