Less than a week after a southwest Dallas shooting, the victim has died and police have filed a murder charge against the man they arrested the day after the shooting on a weapons charge.
Dallas Police say a man named Timothy Gantt died Monday at Methodist Dallas Medical Center where he had lingered since being shot four days earlier.
Police say shooting suspect Benjamin Edwards was already locked up at the Dallas County jail and now, with Gantt's death, a murder charge has been added.
