At least three people have serious injuries from a wrong-way crash in Garland overnight.
Reports say just before 11 p.m. Richardson police tried to pull over a stolen car, but that led to a police chase through five cities when the driver decided to flee.
It ended in Garland where the suspect, who was driving east in the west bound lanes, slammed head-on into another car on the George Bush Turnpike near Firewheel Parkway.
The impact left both cars nearly unrecognizable.
The innocent driver is in the hospital along with the driver of the stolen car and his passenger.
