A Dallas woman is shot dead, and police say her own son is the killer.
Police responded to a call on Lydia Ln. in southeast Dallas shortly before 9:30 last night. There, they found that Kristie Acosta, 49, had been shot.
Acosta was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police say Acosta's son, Joe Acosta, 32, is the man who shot her.

Joe Acosta is charged with murder and is in the Dallas County Jail.
A Dallas County magistrate will set Joe Acosta's bond.
Police have not said what led up to the deadly shooting.
