WHITE SETTLEMENT (1080 KRLD)- Police have identified the suspects in an attempted bank robbery from back in April and learned they are already in jail for other crimes.
According to White Settlement police, officers were dispatched to the Wells Fargo Bank located on Jim Wright Freeway back on April 18, 2023. They learned a man and a woman had attempted to rob the bank.
Footage from the scene had shown the pair had arrived in a stolen motorcycle and the man had waited outside while the woman went inside and slipped a note to the teller. The note read, "I want everything in the drawer now. No games or everyone dies.” The teller had activated a holdup alarm and the woman ran out without any money, jumped on the motorcycle and both fled the scene.

After the footage had been released to the public, tips in July helped identify 47-year-old Joseph Caddell and 29-year-old April Curry as the suspects. Both were already in Johnson County Jail on unrelated charges.
White Settlement police is working with the FBI currently to determine any additional federal charges against the pair.
