The search is on for a man police say crashed into a school bus this morning, then fled the scene.
It happened on South Freeway between Berry St. and Seminary Dr. Officer Buddy Calzada with Fort Worth police says after the crash, the suspect abandoned his car and fled the scene on foot.
"We do have some early details coming in," Calzada says. "Of course we're still investigating it, but this individual did try to stop other people to get a ride to leave the location. Thankfully, there were no weapons involved. Also thankfully, nobody gave him a ride."
The bus driver was not injured in the crash and, fortunately, no kids were on the bus when it was hit.
