Grapevine’s own Post Malone will be a signature headliner for the World Cup closing ceremony.
FIFA announced Wednesday that Post Malone will join a star-studded lineup for the closing ceremony which will happen ahead of the final match in New Jersey on Sunday.
“Post Malone will deliver a performance designed to celebrate the tournament’s journey and ignite the atmosphere before the world’s attention turns to the two finalists,” FIFA President Gianni Infantino said.
He will join Tom Cruise and Jennifer Hudson to highlight the events leading up to the championship game.
The game will also include a first-ever World Cup finals halftime show. The show will include Madonna, Justin Bieber, BTS, and Shakira.
The closing ceremony starts an hour and a half before the 2 o’clock kickoff.
