A one-of-one Cooper Flagg rookie card is headed to public auction in September after its owner turned down multimillion-dollar cash bids and a Dallas Mavericks package built around 32 years of premium season tickets.
Fanatics Collect announced Friday that the Topps NBA Debut Patch Autograph card will headline its September Premier Auction from Sept. 10-24. The card includes the game-worn debut patch from Flagg’s first NBA regular-season game and his autograph. Fanatics Collect said the piece has received a PSA Gem Mint 10 grade.
Collector Jason Williams of South Carolina pulled the card Aug. 10 during a livestreamed box break at RhodyBreakers in Rhode Island. Sports Collectors Digest reported he paid $515 for the Mavericks spot in a small break. The card features the patch Flagg wore in his debut on Oct. 22, 2025.

Offers arrived quickly. Sports Collectors Digest reported Goldin offered a $1.5 million auction cash advance and that marketplace Alt offered $3.6 million if Williams consigned the card there. The Athletic reported Alt’s bounty bidding later reached $3.8 million before that process closed. Williams declined those cash routes.
The Mavericks also made a public bounty before the card was even pulled, according to The Athletic and other reports. Dallas offered two premium lower-level season tickets for 32 years — matching Flagg’s jersey number — plus a signed game-worn rookie jersey, a postgame photo with Flagg, and other team experiences. Williams turned that down as well and chose the open auction.
The same Fanatics sale will also offer one-of-one Debut Patch cards for Dylan Harper and Kon Knueppel. A comparable Paul Skenes baseball debut patch sold for about $1.11 million in 2025, giving collectors a recent benchmark. Hobby analysts have projected Flagg’s card could go much higher, but no sale price is set until bidding ends Sept. 24.
