Commuters in Collin County need to be aware of freeway closures scheduled in Collin County on Southbound and Northbound 75 at CR 375/County Line Road in Van Alstyne. All southbound lanes will be closed overnight from 9 pm 5 am on Monday, April 6th and from 9 pm to 7 am on Tuesday, April 7th.
On Wednesday, April 8th and Thursday, April 9th construction crews will close all lanes on the northbound side of 75 at CR 375/County Line Road overnight from 9 pm to 5 am.
Traffic will be detoured to the frontage road and drivers should plan ahead for extra travel time.
The $80 million project includes widening US 75 and the frontage roads along with bridge improvements between CR 370 and CR 375. Overall completion is scheduled for late spring 2026.
