The damage from last Saturday's tornadoes is extensive in Panola, Cherokee and Rusk Counties.
Tammy Prater is the Executive Director with the East Texas Chapter of the American Red Cross. She says there is a lot of devastation. She also says they are trying to find people temporary housing.
Prater says, "We have our medical teams and our mental health case workers who are available for anyone who needs it."
Prater also says, "We are just at the beginning of the Spring storm season. The American Red Cross is always in dire need of financial assistance. So, if anyone would like to help these storm victims. You can always call 1-800-Red-Cross. The need for help is constant."
