Retired Arlington police officer gets 10 years probation in child fondling case

A retired Arlington police sergeant has been sentenced to probation in a case where he admitted he fondled a child two decades ago.

William Stallsworth was given 10 years of probation in a plea agreement finalized yesterday.

The woman who accused Stallsworth is a relative who was about 8-years-old when the first incident occurred.

Stallsworth retired from Arlington PD in 2014.
