Richardson Police arrest a man suspected in a couple of car burglaries with some help from an unmanned aerial surveillance unit.

Police got a 9-1-1 call Wednesday night about a vehicle burglary. They dispatched a drone to the neighborhood, and say it spotted the suspect breaking into another vehicle nearby.

The drone operator used video from the drone's camera to relay information about the suspect's location to officers on the ground.

Officers used that information to help track down and apprehend the suspect. He's charged with two counts of burglary of a vehicle and evading arrest.
