A Richardson resident is a million dollars richer after picking up a lucky Powerball ticket back on October 24th.
Texas Lottery officials say the ticket was purchased at a Tom Thumb on Custer Parkway.
The anonymous winner matched all five white ball numbers, but not the red Powerball number.
Wednesday's historic Powerball jackpot has climbed to over $1.2 billion, and could even go higher as ticket sales increase on Wednesday.
This is the fourth largest Powerball jackpot in U.S. history, and the second largest Powerball jackpot of all time, behind the $1.586 billion prize won in January 2016.
