Seagoville police released photos of two men they've been looking for since Sunday when a riot broke out at La Pulga de Seagoville, also known as Seagoville Trade Days.
Reports say a band was playing Sunday night and drew a large crowd that grew increasingly unruly. Near the end of this concert, police say large fights broke out simultaneously within the concert venue.
Seagoville police officers tried to quell the disturbances but it quickly turned into a riot with more fights on top of bottles and full cans being thrown in the crowd.
A Seagoville Police Officer was trying to arrest one of the fighters when he was struck in the head with a can. Other officers got the man in handcuffs and he was put in the back of a marked Seagoville police car. But the riot was still going on and the officers left him to deal with additional violence.
Seagoville Police called in help from DPS, Crandall PD and the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office. With the additional manpower, the venue was cleared out but the fighting continued in the parking lot.
During all of this chaos, police say the handcuffed man escaped from the back of the police car.
Seagoville Police say they are aware of social media posts, specifically on Tik Tok, showing the escapee had help from others.
Investigators are circulating photos of two men they're looking for but they don't have their names, so that's where they're hoping for tips.
