High schools across the state indluding some in Dallas, Fort Worth and several other Texas cities were on lockdown Tuesday because of what turned out to be hoax calls about shooters on campus.
Dallas police were called out to Lincoln High School and determined the threat was actually a "false call."
At Fort Worth's Diamond Hill-Jarvis there was also a threat. But nothing turned up. In Fort Worth, in any case, the hoax perpetrator has been identified.
There were also similar hoaxes reported at high schools in Waco, Pflugerville and Houston.
