Severe storms moved across North Texas along with several reports of tornadoes around the area. As a result, many ONCOR customers were left without power.
At one point there were around 25,000 ONCOR customers without power as the storms swept through the area.
ONCOR said it had a warning and was staged and ready to move.
Crews are still heading east as the storms move that direction.
Also, the storms brought air traffic to a halt. For a while, there were ground stops at the airport and the FAA was holding both inbound and outbound flights.
Both airports were unwinding late Tuesday morning, but there were still delays. If you have an early afternoon flight it's best to check if it's still on time. The same advice if you are flying east. The same storm system is expected to cause delays at other airports.
