Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis has engaged in repeated sexual harassment involving female employees, a federal lawsuit alleges.
A 75-page discrimination complaint was filed in U.S District Court that claims Willis routinely harasses and inappropriately touches women, that his First Assistant D.A., Bill Wirskye berates and bullies employees and that members of the Commissioners Court ignore complaints made by the women.
Chief investigator Kim Pickrell, Deputy Chief Keith Henslee, Jane Doe 1, Jane Doe 2, former prosecutor Fallon LaFleur and former prosecutor VyKim Le are named as plaintiffs.
Pickrell claims in the suit that she has been subjected to hours of closed-door meetings with Willis, and was forced to sit in an uncomfortably close position.
"Once she was in place, he began to stroke her hand with his hand," the suit says. "Quite frequently he would give her full frontal body hugs while pressing her breasts into his chest, rubbing her lower back with his hands, and moaning. He'd often remark about the condition of Chief Pickrell's body, saying he could tell that she 'worked out.' Defendant Willis told Chief Pickrell how good her body looked, and that he just couldn't be around her because she 'looked so good."'
Others made allegations that Willis had made sexual advances on business trips.
"This is obviously a politically-motivated and politically-timed lawsuit based on lies and recycled untruths by some very disgruntled and by very troubled individuals," Wirskye said. "It's a shame that all the good people who work in the Collin County D.A's office and our county officials have to suffer through these personal attacks on myself and the D.A. But I can't wait to get into court and clear my name. There's a mountain of evidence that these allegations never happened."
The District Attorney is up for reelection next week, but is running unopposed.
