Five United Airlines workers from North Texas are among six employees suing the airline, complaining of discrimination in the company's Coronavirus vaccine mandate.
United has announced all employees must be vaccinated by September 27th.
Of the six workers in the lawsuit, two sought medical exemptions and four asked for religious accommodations. Their requests were granted but they were ordered to take unpaid leave beginning October 2nd.
The lawsuit says United's actions, "left Plaintiffs with the impossible choice of either taking the COVID-19 vaccine, at the expense of their religious beliefs and their health, or losing their livelihoods."
