Starting this weekend, there will be three less COVID-19 testing sites in Dallas.
Parkland Health and Hospital System’s walk-up testing sites are closing for good. Unless they’re needed again, in which case Herron Mitchell, with Parkland, says they can easily reopen.
Mitchel says the sites just aren’t needed anymore.
When they first opened, Mitchel says they were serving more than 200 people a day. Now less than 10 people a day are being tested for coronavirus.
Parkland’s Drive through sites are staying open.
