Damage at a southeast Dallas cemetery is very sad for the families of loved ones buried there. They are now surprised to learn what has been causing it.

Lincoln Memorial Cemetery sits along the banks of the Trinity River near I-20 and Dowdy Ferry Road. In the river bottoms live hundreds, possibly thousands, of feral hogs.

Officials believe the hogs have been coming into the cemetery and uprooting the sod over many graves, and even toppling gravestones as they root around looking for grubs.

A non-profit group called 'Hogs for a Cause, Texas' traps wild hogs to provide meat for veterans and has volunteered to come in to remove the invasive species.
