The safest small city in Texas is Southlake, based on a ranking on the personal finance Website MoneyGeek.
On a national scale, Southlake ranks 22nd.
For the purpose of its rankings, MoneyGeek considers a "small" city to be one with a population from $30,000 to $100,000.
The rankings are based on analysis of crime data including violent crime and property crime.
Other North Texas cities in the top 100 include Keller at #36, Flower Mound at #61 and Wylie at #81.
