Unfortunately, I'm the bearer of bad news on this special day. There's a level 1, 2, and 3 for severe weather across parts of north, central, and east Texas this afternoon and evening.

Most of the severe weather will stay just east and south of the DFW area. All facets of severe weather are possible, especially at the yellow and orange shading.

Our best rain chance across North Texas will be late Monday through Wednesday but no severe weather is expected.
Temperatures will be well below average with highs in the fifties and sixties through the period. Clearing skies and comfortable temperatures will round out our new work week.
