Students in the Arlington ISD are taking the STAAR tests again today after testing was interupted Wednesday by computer issues.

Officials with the Arlington ISD are hoping to get back on track today after experiencing an internet outage yesterday. And it happened during the worst possible time, when students were in the middle of taking their STAAR tests.

Students will get the chance to finish their tests today, but they won’t be able to go back and change any answers.

At this point, the district hasn’t said what caused the outage.

Just a few weeks ago, the district broke ground on a new fiber optic network to improve internet access at all schools. It’s currently being installed and should be completed next year.
